Well, after around 40 years of Amateur Radio operation experimenting with VHF propagation on the 50-144 MHz bands, I have finally reached a firm conclusion as to what theorised ingredients are required for Sporadic-E to form.
This has come about from a combination of my own observations, reported DX cluster spots, published articles since the 1940's, mathematical formula, geography, scientific facts, meteorology and space weather to name a few.
